Your role in helping us shape the future:
As a member of the US News Money team, you will be involved in implementing our SEO strategy for traffic growth that helps guide the future of our business. You will be a key member of a fast growing organization that is goal driven and reshaping our future.

The main responsibilities of the SEO Content Analyst will be to champion the organic growth of our traffic through smart and actionable search tactics and work closely with the Consumer Advisory team to improve editorial content through research. You will participate in analysis and reporting and be the resident expert on search algorithm updates and industry trends. The SEO Content Analyst will work closely with Money’s product and editorial teams to generate and maintain highly optimized content of interest. This position will also strive to improve overall organic performance and assist in the creation of reports, analysis and recommendations in the financial vertical.

Are you up to the challenge?

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for analyzing, identifying and managing SEO initiatives and organic search opportunities
• Develop and deliver clear SEO KPIs and achieve better organic traffic growth
• Create and implement specific SEO recommendations at the page level
• Execute strategic on-page and technical SEO activities through keyword research, link building, indexing and page crawling
• Work closely with SEO Lead, Product, Editorial, Tech and Business Intelligence departments to drive the implementation of SEO recommendations
• Create detailed and routine analysis and reports on SEO KPIs
• Provide competitor site analysis and identify areas of opportunity
• Stay up to date with new tools, trends and best practices on all search engine (mainly Google) and SEO industry algorithm updates
• Participate in special projects that can support other verticals as requested

Conditions:
You should definitely have
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably major in commerce or similar, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of professional SEO experience with proven results
• Knowledge of SEO methodologies and best practices
• Experience with reporting/tracking tools including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console, SEO optimization platforms such as Searchmetrics, SEMrush, and data-driven SEO analytics
• Proven success in creating and implementing SEO plans and strategies resulting in tangible organic traffic growth
• Experience working with cross-platform teams to implement SEO strategies
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, HTML and understanding of source code
• Experience working with content teams
It would be nice if you had
• Familiarity with Schema.org markup a plus
• Experience with crawling software such as Screaming Frog SEO Spider and DeepCrawl an asset
• SEO experience for media sites is a big plus
